Brian Smith, DC
Dr. Brian is an attentive down to earth doctor with over 22 years experience practicing in the state of Michigan. Dr. Brian recieved his Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 1993, the world’s largest chiropractic college. He is a southeast Michigan native and first opened the Chiroplus Chesterfield clinic in 1996. He has been the sole owner of the current Chiroplus office on Gratiot, which was self built and designed in 2004. Dr. Brian is known by his staff and patients to be a knowledgeable good listener, who counsels patients with effective strategies to reach their wellness goals without drugs or surgery, such as chiropractic therapy, dietary supplements, and lifestyle changes.
Dr. Brian has also worked as a paramedic for 15 years, and was a fire fighter for ten years, before retiring in 2015. In addition to his practice he also raises grass fed piedmontese beef sold annually at the clinic. Dr. Brian is currently a St. Clair county resident, and father of 4 who loves hunting and deep sea fishing in the gulf of Mexico.
Amy LMT, LPTA
Amy has completed over 1000 hours in massage training from Irene’s myomassology institute in Southfield. Prior to attending Irene’s in 2014, Amy graduated from Macomb Community College physical therapist assistant program with an associates degree, and continues to work part time as a licensed PTA. With a passion for natural pharma free forms of healing, she loves working as a massage therapist at a chiropractic setting, and believes that detox, diet, exercise, stress reduction and spinal adjustments are essential for longevity and wellness. Amy makes her own aramatherapy blends and has had great results using essential oils with massage to treat stress, headaches, muscle aches, and gastrointestinal pain. Continuing Education includes cranial sacral therapy through Upledger Institute, Karuna reiki master through William Rands International Center for Reiki training, and medical massage through Health Matters Seminars.
